Together, they guide students through a series of interactive, fun and uniquely designed courses; a culinary journey like no other. From the novice to the experienced, Walter and Dorota Trupp teach everything from mastering basic knife-skills, whole food health secrets, to presentation techniques, that will help take every-day meals and dinner-parties to a whole new level. Student have fun learning how to make better food choices through in depth market tours and prepare the healthiest and tastiest meals, which not only support your wellbeing but give you abundance of energy to perform at your best. As I entered the place I was welcomed by Walter’s warm greeting and a professional cooking setting that has a delightful marriage of cooking tools with excellent Electrolux luxuries of modernity.
Whilst S itting / standing in the school I had a wonderful view of the workshop-like kitchen where I could see this chef working, before I then created delicious recipes with other students that we sampled and completely devoured.
Thr first class I attended we were a small class of about eight, and we worked in pairs, each pair making two or three absolutely delicious dishes which we eventually plated and transferred to the adjacent dining room, where we all took a deep breath before diving in and becoming gluttons.
Including homemade filo pastry; and we learned how to blind bake; and the flavours ran the gamut from seafood and potatoe in a classic fish pie, to Moroccan fruity and spicy, to chicken, quiche lorraine, and a vegetarian asian pie.
Our office was in yesterday, and what a great day it was, thanks Walter it was a lovely day, and we learnt lots, and we left feeling very full.
The classes are well thought out and using only the best fresh ingredients, all dishes are created from the fully equipped state of the art chef’s kitchen, and thoroughly enjoyed in the delightfully social setting of dining around a table together with your classmates over a glass of wine.
I really appreciate the opportunity to have experienced the Beginners classes as well as a class that is more specialised, Signature Dishes, having learnt many new skills in both and had a great time.

Although the Christmas BBQ course was only 3 hour class, I learnt loads of techniques for cooking and preparation that I have already taken with me and applied to my own cooking.
Not only do you learn to cook exquisite dishes, but you also get a great insight into how a chef prepares and shops for ingredients.I have just recently completed Walter’s Tasting School, which was the most educational and fun experience I have ever had in cooking.Walter’s encouraging and friendly nature inspires you to work for beyond what you thought could ever be achieved in the kitchen.
