The School of Liberal Arts is comprised of the Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences at Tulane University. The School of Liberal Arts is the largest school at Tulane University. It is composed of sixteen departments, eighteen programs, as well as the Shakespeare Festival, the Summer Lyric Theatre, the Middle American Research Institute, the Language Learning Center, the marching band, and the New Orleans Center for the Gulf South. As of July 2013, the School of Liberal Arts has 190 tenure track faculty, 65 PoPs, 33 visitors and 90 adjuncts. Around 2100 undergraduate students declare their major or majors in our school, and we enroll approximately 350 graduate students. Teaching over 4200 courses annually, the School of Liberal Arts is responsible for the majority of service learning-classes for the university, as well as great portion of the core curriculum.
