Description

How do the world’s largest land animals become the world’s biggest underdogs? The answer is very simple and unfortunate: Greed. But we are optimists and, together, we will fight this human monstrosity and evil commerce. MISSION We mitigate the threat of violence and terrorism on the world’s wildlife by providing strategic intelligence and tactical resources to all ground forces that defend them so that wildlife may live. VISION We seek a sustainable world where wildlife are safe, secure, and free from any harm and violence—to live with humans, in fairness, without conflict. WHO WE SERVE AND WHY ELEPHANTS, RHINOS, AND GIRAFFES While we were originally founded to protect the elephant, we realized that the preservation of the species also depended on the survival of the rhinos and the giraffes. Therefore, our vision is to mitigate the threat of terrorism on the iconic trifecta of the world's wildlife. Consider the grim statistics that we are up against: Elephants are killed every 15 minutes for their ivory. Rhinos get killed every 2 hours for their horns. And here's a sick irony, giraffe population has plummeted by 80% during the past 10 years and they are killed by poachers to feed themselves while poaching. These majestic and gentle iconic wildlife has only one predator in the world: Greed. We serve to defend them by supporting those who protect them and advocating for their survival all over the world. Our mission seems impossible but we must stop this travesty, now. BUSH RANGERS Africa’s park rangers are dedicated and motivated only by their love for OUR wildlife. However, they are far underpaid, overworked, and are out-matched by well-funded professional and militarized poachers. On average, they only make $125 a month while risking their lives—at the rate of 1 ranger KIA every 4 days. They deserve better because they risk their lives to defend the iconic wildlife on OUR behalf. PARTNERS, DONORS, SUPPORTERS, AND FRIENDS Whether you are on the ground as our partner or a donor at home simply concerned about the plight of wildlife and park rangers, we are steadfast in our commitment to serving you. You are the lifeblood of our organization and we are grateful for your help. © 2015 TUSK TASK FORCE™ | TTF™ Wildlife and landscape mages are copyright properties of respected owners, who may be indicated.
