Description

Janice M. Williams is honored to be the owner of the first Tutor Doctor franchise in New York City. Her business currently services all five boroughs, Westchester County, Northern New Jersey and Southern Connecticut. After a successful career in the health care industry working in roles ranging from hospital administrator, to management consultant, to business analyst for a managed care company, to market researcher, marketer, strategic planning, and business development professional for a pharmaceutical company, Janice M. Williams decided to refocus her energy in an area where she can make a more direct impact on improving the lives of the families in her community. Her love of children and passion for learning motivated her to join to the National US Tutor Doctor Franchisee team in 2009. Janice holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wesleyan University and a Master’s of Business Administration degree from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. She is a lifetime member of the National Black MBA Association and an active lifetime member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. (North Manhattan Alumnae Chapter), a public service organization. Janice lives in Manhattan with her son Jason.
