A group of students from UC are looking to tutor children in the ACT and surrounding area.

Description

A group of students from UC are looking to tutor children in the ACT and surrounding area. We have our certificate III in childcare, working with children check and first aid. We all have cars and can go anywhere in the ACT, QBN or Sutton. We are all studying highly academic subjects and some of us are studying primary school teaching. We started doing this in the beginning of the year and have built up a range of lesson materials. Every child receives the following starter pack: - 1 English book. - 1 mathematics book. - The use of pencils, pens, textas etc. - Print off copies of work from learning books. - All other necessary print offs. - Reading books (if not on readers). The charge is $25 per hour ($30 for the first hour lesson to cover the child's personal books and materials.) We offer one half hour before commencement to fill out a student profile and create objectives for learning for free. Parents may choose to attend at their discretion. Our availability is some afternoons after school and weekends. We also do babysitting for $20 an hour (cheaper if over-night or after they are sleeping) Please note, we are in Belconnen so travel to areas like Tuggeranong and NSW may cost extra for fuel.
