IS TWIN CITY AUTO BODY ABLE TO REPAIR THE ALUMINUM F150 FROM FORD? Yes, Twin City Auto Body is prepared and continues education with our technicians to deliver a high quality repaired vehicle for our customers. Aluminum — which is lighter than steel but just as strong — isn't new to the auto industry, but this is the first time it will cover the entire body of such a high-volume vehicle. The F-150 sits on a high-strength steel frame that's carrying less weight from the truck, so it can carry more cargo and haul heavier trailers. HOW WILL THIS AFFECT THE REPAIR BUSINESS? Twin City Auto Body has been repairing aluminum for many years. The difference with the F150 is the panels are all riveted on to the body. This will require new equipment, and we are prepared and ready for the change. HOW WILL THIS AFFECT OUR CUSTOMERS? Our customers will receive the same quality service and repair. The manufacturer took steps to minimize repair costs. Because of the way the aluminum is sectioned and riveted to your vehicle, this helps reduce the time your vehicle will be at our shop. This alone saves dollars. Thank you for choosing us as your Repair Shop of Choice!!

Thank you for choosing Twin City Auto Body to repair your vehicle. As part of the repairs, we clean the outside of your vehicle. As we are all excited for this beautiful cold weather, there are a few things to watch for on your vehicle. We try our very best to dry the door jams, windows, lift gates, and door handles. However, they do freeze at times. We ask that you are mindful when using various features on your vehicle. Below is a list of items to watch for: Things to do: Open doors after 1 hour of sitting outside If vehicle is in a garage, open after 4 hours Manually open doors, lift gates, trunks, and sliding doors Things not to do: Do not roll down window within 1 hour of picking vehicle up Do not open the sunroof. This statement is true throughout the winter season as it is very hard on the motor Do not use any motorized options on your vehicle until you have manually used them a few times, use your better judgment Thank you for your business!!!
