Applications should be submitted at www.uclfc.co.uk/apply and are screened on a rolling basis by our partners, Dartmouth Partnership ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- - Now in its fourth year, the UCL Finance Conference is one of the largest student-focussed finance conferences in Europe. The Conference was founded by students from UCLU Investment Society; one of the largest and most professional societies at UCL. - The inaugural conference was held in London in February 2010 and attracted over 500 applications for 200 places. Speakers included Jim O'Neill (Chairman of Goldman Sachs Asset Management) and Keith Harris (Chairman of Seymour Pierce Holdings Ltd). - The 2012 event was highlighted by Cyrus Ardalan (Vice Chairman, Barclays Corporate) and Robert Parker (Senior Adviser, Credit Suisse) and others. We had 1800 applicants for the 250 places available. The event was a marked success (www.uclfc.co.uk/past-conferences). - Internship Scheme participant firms included Trafalgar Asset Managers, Tarchon Capital Management, Serone Capital Management and MarketInvoice. We ended up placing 6 lucky delegates on internships in these firms. - 250 of the most talented students studying at the most prestigious universities across Europe, and senior professionals representing various prominent organisations within the financial services industry, participate in keynote speeches, panel discussions, interactive workshops and networking sessions.
