The Islamic Finance Council UK (UKIFC) is a not-for-profit body established to promote and develop the Islamic and ethical finance industry. The IFC is active in the area of government policy advisory, Shariah governance and select areas of research and thought leadership. It has advised European and African governments on Islamic finance policy and governance frameworks. IFC Board Members contribute to UKTI and Treasury Islamic finance working groups.
