CHERY Automobile Co. Ltd was founded in 1997 and their product lines cover Passenger Vehicles, Commercial Vehicles and Minivans. With a registered capital of RMB. 3.68 billion, Chery have invested in two state-of-the art Manufacturing Plants, a Transmission Plant, an Automotive Engineering Research Institute, as well as an Automotive Planning and Design Institute. PROTON PROTON Bhd was incorporated on 7th May 1983 with the aim of building a national car. Two years later, on 9th July 1985 the Proton Saga (later known in the UK as the MPI) was officially launched. FOTON FOTON has experienced exponential growth since it was founded in 1996. It has been the world’s largest manufacturer of commercial vehicles in terms of sales since 2009, and the top Chinese manufacturer of commercial vehicles since 2003. Foton products are exported to more than 125 countries world-wide, where a fast-growing service network provides first-class sales and technical assistance to customers. Production lines have been established in 5 countries, while 10 additional lines are currently under construction.
