"United for Better Pakistan"is a non-profit, non-partisan, non-political organization based in USA striving to establish a civil society network of Pakistanis both inside and outside Pakistan along with working as a Think Tank focused on presenting practical solutions to complex problems Pakistan is facing today. This initiative is going to advocate & campaign for a constitutional package which is geared towards good governance, embedded accountability and rectifying problems in malfunctioning systems in Pakistan. The package is based on principles of equality, accountability, transparency and checks and balances on Executive, Legislative and Judicial branches of Govt.It defines and advocates processes and automated systems that will lead to good governance and much needed services needed by citizens of Pakistan. Some of the important features of the legislative package include: 1. Financial transparency and accountability 2. Performance reviews of Executives, Legislative,Judicial branches of the govt on social development benchmarks (KPIs). 3. Bringing Best and Brightest into Politics 4. Reforming Education & Criminal Justice System. 5. Utilizing expertise & resources of Pakistani Diaspora in resolving national issues. 6. Use Information Technology to develop systems to deliver services required by citizens of the country.
