The Hall is proud of its international mixture of residents and offers single full-board rooms to a wide diversity of students from different social, economic, regional and national backgrounds. This Hall is centrally located on the main campus and is set in magnificent, well-established grounds. The main four-storey wings house 225 residents, with general amenities in the undercroft. The Townhouses accommodate on average 8 residents per floor sharing lounge, dining, kitchen, bathroom and laundry facilities. Each study-bedroom is furnished with: * single bed * desk and chair * bookshelf * wardrobe * chest of drawers * ceiling fan * phone * internet port Cold-water fountains are conveniently located on each floor, and you may supply your own small refrigerator in your room (charges apply). Our award-winning original building design planned for extensive use of the undercrofts. Under A Wing we have a Games Room, TV room, Computer Lab, gymnasium, laundry and the Duty RA Room. Located under B Wing we have another laundry and the Senior Common Room which offers a members’ bar, projection television and pool table. A volleyball court is available to all residents and is often used throughout the year especially when the inter-college sports competition is in full swing. A piano is located in the dining hall. The fully air-conditioned Facilities Building with its huge windows overlooking the grounds and barbecue area, contains the dining hall, kitchen, office and conference rooms. This building is one of the finest on campus, with the upstairs Conference Rooms surrounded by wide verandahs to take advantage of the tropical climate. Residential support is provided by our Head of Hall and a group of 14 Residential Assistants (RAs). In addition, our office is open between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday, to help with administrative matters and our Hall is serviced by the JCU Halls of Residence catering and housekeeping teams.
