Welcome to the University Lutheran Chapel. We are hosting a new joint Episcopal/Lutheran Campus Ministry at Cal! You are on a journey. We all need companions to walk with us to share a story, a laugh or times of pain. If you are from near or far you have left the family, the community and the you you were. You are on a journey. We all need symbols and signs that give us meaning, we all need places to rest, sometimes we need to ask questions about who we are and what we are doing. You are on a journey. We are all hurt and abandoned sometime. We all need a place that is home where we are accepted. You are on a journey. Where will you rest? University Chapel is a place where you can find home. If you believe or if you doubt, if you laugh or if you cry, if you feel hopeful or if you feel empty there is a home and a family for you. Have a sustaining meal, sit in candlelight and be washed over by music, receive the mystery of Holy Communion or remain in silent prayer. Take part in engaging conversations about the deep meanings of life. Make the friends who will sustain you now and remain friends as you go forward in life.
