This page is for anyone interested in or involved with Psychology at Surrey - whether you are studying or working here, thinking of joining us, have graduated already, or simply want to keep up to date with what we do! The School of Psychology at the University of Surrey is home to over 50 academics and postdoctoral researchers as well as 70 postgraduate students. We have an international reputation as a centre of excellence in both research and teaching. In the 2010 Sunday Times rankings Psychology at Surrey was rated 16 out of 102 Psychology departments in the UK. We offer an Undergraduate BSc course and a range of postgraduate MSc courses in an environment where teaching and research are well integrated. We also run a lively and successful PhD programme and Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapeutic & Counselling Practitioner Doctorates. Students on our BSc programme have an opportunity to explore life as a professional psychologist by participating in the Professional Training year, which is key to our excellent graduate employment record (currently 98.8%). Students graduating from our programme are eligible for Graduate Membership of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and have the Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership - the first step towards becoming a Chartered Psychologist.
