There is going to be a student teams open house in the Sedra Student Design Centre (1st Floor of E5) this afternoon from 3-6pm. If you are interested in joining a student team - or just finding out more - this is a great opportunity. This is open to students from all faculties and departments.
Day 2: We arrived bright and early this morning to fuel up for the endurance event only to find that our fuel pump unit was leaking severely. Despite our best efforts to seal it, we were unable to stop the leak in time to start endurance with the other teams. After liberally applying Seal-All to every conceivable leak path on the unit this evening, we should be able to start make-up miles early tomorrow morning. With any luck, we should be able to complete them in time to continue the other dynamic events.
We're Michigan bound and just passed the 1000km-to-go mark! We're looking forward to seeing all our friends at the Challenge. We're also looking forward to sleep. Glorious, glorious sleep after a near all-nighter in the Student Design Center.
We are having our first new member meeting tomorrow at 7:00 in out bay in E5. Looking forward to seeing some new faces!
We woke up bright and early for today's cold start event. It got down to about -7C last night. We successfully completed Cold Start for the first time in at least ten years! We will be competing in the acceleration and handling events shortly! Stay tuned!
