Winchester is one of the UK’s highest-ranked, most beautiful cities. The University welcomes students onto a wide range of programs at Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels, and through to Research. With a history dating back to 1840, yet with some of the most modern teaching facilities in the UK, the University of Winchester is home to some 600 International students from 50 countries. Our international students live and study with our UK students, giving everyone the chance to make friends and experience international cultures. We have a great location in the ancient cathedral city of Winchester, just one hour from London. Our attractive campus is within walking distance of the city center, and we have great sports facilities (including the Winchester Sports Stadium). The university has around 5,600 students studying at undergraduate and postgraduate level on a wide range of programs within the humanities, arts, social sciences, business and education. Education Studies, Dance and Theology and Religious Studies appeared in the top 10; and Archaeology, Creative Writing, Initial Teacher Education, Business Management, Psychology, and Social Work were ranked in the top 20 universities in England for satisfaction with teaching by full and part-time undergraduate students.
