Unmanned Vehicle University is the first University in the World licensed to grant degrees in Unmanned Air, Ground and Sea Systems. MS and PhD degrees are offered in Unmanned Systems Engineering as a totally online curriculum. The school also offers technical training in Unmanned systems though Online Executive Certificate Courses and 3 day short courses. Courses are offered in English, Greek, German, Italian and Spanish. An unmanned system is not just a vehicle. It is composed of the vehicle, communications, data links and control stations. Degree programs at UVU take a systems engineering approach. Graduates will enter the unmanned career field in the areas of R&D, vehicle design, sensor development, vehicle communications and data links, sense and avoid systems, human machine interfaces, autonomous control, vehicle navigation, alternative power and operations. SCHEDULE (All Courses 12 Week Quarters) Executive Certificate in UAV Course: May 7 (12 weeks) Quarter 1: June 11 - Sept 2, 2012 Quarter 2: Sept 3 - Nov 25, 2013 Quarter 3: Dec 3 - Mar 10, 2013 Quarter 4: Mar 11 - Jun 2, 2013 Accreditation: UVU is anticipates application for accreditation with the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities in June of 2013. Faculty: UVU has the best subject matter experts in the World. Our instructors have an average of 25 years of experience. Fields of expertise include: robotics, unmanned vehicle design, sensors, autonomy, human factors and communications. We also have former military unmanned vehicle instructors including instructor pilots from the Predator, Reaper and Global Hawk.
