Description
Pride Alliance focuses on education about LGBTQQIA (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Questioning, Intersex, Allied) health disparities and issues, and how we as future healthcare professionals can help to address these issues. We also focus on health promotion and acceptance of LGBTQQIA individuals, as well as support members of the community. Our lunch meetings focus on a specific health issue and feature speakers who have experience with that issue to educate attendees. We also are focusing on outreach to community events.
