Description

Untot Story (English and German) English The history of Untot (Undead) dates back to the last century of 1986, where Jens printed with his first Label Steuersklaven Siebdruck (Tax Slaves) Gothic, Metal, Biker and the legendary Untot shirt. For the gothic shirts the designer Jens Kirch was trend-setting, you could tell that the other T-shirt manufacturer followed his example. In 1994, Jens was introduced to the fine art of screen printing by his friend Ronny Perras. In 1997, Jens started designing Gothic Pants, Shirts, Skirts and Dresses. In 1998 the label Untot was founded. Arno Feyer (Earnie) and Martin Tuckermann (Tukki) were added, but unfortunately they have passed away. Our first festival where we sold our Untot textiles in 2000 was the 9 WGT until 2010. This was followed by the M'era Luna, Orkus, That Spring and Wacken. In 2000, Jens traveled to Japan for the first time, where he was inspired by Visual Kei and Lolita fashion. Since then also Punk & Gothic Lolita and Visual Kei have been produced by Untot. In 2010, Untot had a stand at the Japan Expo Sud. In 2005, Jens got to know Sonny von Iblis, who is considered the greatest designer in gothic fashion in Asia. Since then, Untot's textiles have been produced in a quality that remains unparalleled to this day. Eyelets, zippers, D-rings used on all textiles are rust- and nickel-free. In 2006, Undead was enriched by the famous Painter Robert Bischof. In 2007-2008 Untot and Gota Tex, one of the largest textile manufacturers in Germany, brought out a collection together. In 2010, the label X Kawaii was launched. Since then also more colorful "Sweet Japanese Style" fashion, as well as Maid dresses and school uniforms were produced, which split off from the label Untot. In 2011, the well-known professional model Alice Rose joined X Kawaii and since then we have been on the Hanami, Cosday, Dokomi, Animaco, WieMaiKai. In 2014, Jens got to know the two Japanese Lolita designers Mamu and Tsubasa Maeda from ChuChu. Since then, Lolita Fashion by X Kawaii is also offered through a joint production. To date, Untot tries to produce high-quality textiles that are still offered at a low price. All dresses in the sweet Japanese style are limited to a maximum of 30 pieces. All of Untot and X Kawaii textiles are made with organic cotton on Fairtrade. . All textiles are made by small family owned companies in Japan and Thailand. Currently sewing for us Waichat, Khun Buay, Verapattana Rporn. At the Mike Pale Atelier at Wächtersbacher Straße 84 in Frankfurt you can see our textiles outside the festivals and online shop.
