The Stephen & Laurel Brown Foundation serves both the University of Wisconsin and Madison communities through thoughtful Christian programming, conversation, and engagement. In carrying out its mission, the Stephen & Laurel Brown Foundation partners with community leaders, nonprofit organizations, campus-based ministries, and churches. The Goodman Community Center is a private nonprofit, serving people of all ages from all walks of life. The Goodman Community Center currently houses a preschool, 4-year-old kindergarten, afterschool programs for all ages (including countywide Girls Inc.), an alternative high school, an older adult program, food pantry and a fitness center. We also rent our rooms out to individuals, private corporations and community groups on a daily basis.
