Description

Urban Agrarian operates local foods markets using biodiesel and natural gas vehicles to collect food from Oklahoma farms. We have 3 open-air markets seasonally, as well as bulk distribution to schools and restaurants. We coordinated with Earth Elements to bring a certified kitchen, year-round market and local food distribution center to the Farmers Public Market District. This facility is called The Earth to Urban Local Food Hub.

General Info

SEASONAL OUTDOOR MARKETS: FRIDAY: The Midtown Market at Saints is on the east side of the St. Anthony Hospital campus on the Southwest corner of Walker and 9th street. Look for the big white tent May-October. If weather ever prevents us from setting up in the parking lot we will be near the east entrance to the hospital. This is a mid-size market with a seasonal supply of local produce, dairy, meats, baked goods, preserved harvest, honey and an assortment of other ready-to-eat, live plant or artisan vendors. SATURDAY: We set up a booth at The Edmond Farmers Market. This is a large market with many vendors housed in the pavilion just West of Braodway on 2nd street. Look for us on the northeast corner of the market. SUNDAY: An Urban Agrarian Local Foods Market is held on 23rd street in the empty lot across the street from the Tower Theatre. Open every Sunday from 10am-6pm as weather permits. You can also find Waffle Champion out serving their delicious fare at the same location from 10am-1pm.
