Having studied 3-Dimensional Design at University in the UK, my career started out as a sixth form tutor. I loved my job and the students very much but never had time to be creative myself anymore. While planning my own wedding I discovered the wonderful world of bridal tiaras and I was inspired to make my own. That's where Ursula Wildy Crowns and Tiaras began. So back in 1998 I gave up my very secure job and jumped in with both feet. Since then I have moved countries several times and finally made my home here in the beautiful Nova Scotia. My work varies from very traditional almost vintage designs to your modern bohemian look and everything in between. I make every piece to order to whatever specifications the brides requires, I love to work one on one with my brides so that they all have something specially designed just for them. Colours, size, materials, finishes anything the brides wants I will try my best to make it happen. To make sure that the piece is kept safe and in its original condition, all of my pieces have their own handmade box, wrapped in acid free tissue so that it never looses it's beautiful lustre. Last but not least all of my work comes with its certificate of authenticity. My new website is currently under construction but I'm very excited for it to be up and running which I'm hoping should be very soon.
