What do you think about a Reader for EDUC 523? Option #1-We break up the EDUC 523 articles (2-3 per person) and each person prints ~24 copies (depending on # of folks who opt in) of the articles assigned to him/her, back and front, stapled? I'll assign the articles by alphabetical order (our name). Then, we all pass out our copies of our assigned articles Saturday, 10/25. Option #2-Someone (or 3-5 people) prints all the articles out, copies the articles in 24 sets (essentially creating a reader), and then everyone pays that person the cost for the printing and copying. Someone (or more than just someONE) needs to volunteer to do this though. (~$60) Option #3-Forget it. Every man for himself. Please respond to the email sent via your USC account by this Friday (10/17) at 3 p.m. with which option you prefer.

Question posed to Dr. Keim regarding Article Analysis: Do you have a sample of what our article analysis should look like? The syllabus states the analysis should be framed like a memo to colleagues. How do we create this within an APA format? Dr. Keim's Answer: I don't think sticking with APA format is necessary for this assignment. Just write the analysis as if you were critically reviewing the article for your doctoral cohort and sending a memo with respect to that analysis.
