What a fantastic day for Ladies Day yesterday. U6, U7, U9, U10 and U11 all played well and finished before the heavens opened for the U12 team. It continued to pour for the first half of B Grade and then cleared up for A Grade. Both senior teams had wins and still keeps A Grade in contention for the Finals. Thank you to all the parents and supporters for their help in either the canteen, home baking, donate prizes for the raffle and enjoying the food and champagne. Massive thanks to the fabulous five - Lavina, Lauren. Olivia, Lucy and Laura for selling the raffle tickets throughout the day and raised over $500 in ticket sales.
UPDATE - U12 has been also cancelled, grammar have closed their grounds due to the rain. Have a safe weekend and see you all Thursday night at training.
Just to clarify the last post - USQ grounds are closed this weekend & all games to be played there are cancelled. U12's game that was scheduled to be played at Grammar is still on. So all U12 parents keep an eye on FB and emails tonight in case this is changed.
All games are cancelled tomorrow - grounds are closed. Have a great, safe weekend.
Hello USQ Rugby community. There a few sponsorship spots remaining on the Junior, Teenage and Senior club shirts. The sponsorships range from $500 - $1000, depending on chest or back positions. We are a not for profit community club and this sponsorship helps get players on the field and is a great way to advertise all year long from U/6's right through to A Grade. I would like to finalise all spots in the next few days so be quick and contact Paul Hanna for more info or to confirm. Thanks.
The USQ Rugby Club has 4 tickets to give away for the massive Reds v Waratahs game tomorrow night. First in best dressed so just reply if you can go. The tickets can be collected from Paul @ Hannas today.
