Welcome to the UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena, Milwaukee's 12,700-seat home for sports, entertainment and assemblies since 1950. One of the first TV-friendly venues in the nation, the then-"Milwaukee Arena" came of age with rock & roll and later gained fame as "MECCA," a house of champions with a reputation for unparalleled fan intensity and an audacious Pop Art basketball floor. A major 1998 renovation readied the building for the 21st century with new technology and enhanced accommodations for both patrons and productions, while retaining its fervor-inducing geometry and super-strong, ready-to-rig ceiling. Whether you're routing a tour, organizing a corporate assembly or attending a sporting event, concert or family show, the UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena is equipped to serve your needs and help ensure your maximum enjoyment and success! Tickets to UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena events are sold at the Milwaukee Theatre Box Office, 500 W. Kilbourn Avenue, just inside the front vestibule. The regular hours shown here are box office hours. Tickets are also sold at a kiosk in the Main Rotunda of the Wisconsin Center, 400 W. Wisconsin Avenue. The Klotsche Center is a 3,500-seat multi-purpose arena in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on the campus of the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee. Opened in 1977, the arena was named after UWM's first Chancellor, J. Martin Klotsche. It is home to the Milwaukee Panthers men's and women's basketball teams and the women's volleyball team. It is part of UWM's Pavilion complex and is used heavily as a practice facility for many teams.In June 2012, UWM announced that it would be moving its men's basketball games from U.S. Cellular Arena back to the Klotsche Center for the 2012-2013 season. To make Klotsche more suitable for Division 1 basketball, new scoreboards, video boards, and new padded courtside seats were installed..
