Since then, UW women have been active in keeping the centre open, updating the resources, and planning events around women's issues. The Women's Centre's activities range from social to political to educational. As an intersectional feminist women's centred organization we welcome everyone regardless of gender, sexual orientation, race, age, ability, class, ethnicity, political affiliation, marital status, number of dependents, gender orientation, religion, citizenship, or any other factor that would constitute as a violation of human rights.

The Women's Centre is a service offered by the University of Waterloo's Federation of Students. We pride ourselves on inclusivity; everyone is welcome at the Women's Centre! The Women's Centre aims to: - provide a safe, supportive, environment on campus for students of all genders with a focus on women and trans folks. - inform the university community of women's issues, discouraging discriminatory behaviour. - provide students with resources and information concerning women's issues
