He graduated from the University of Michigan in 2001, and then received a dental degree from Nova Southeastern University in Florida, where he received the prestigious "Student Cosmetic Dentist" award. Dr. Saad spent his final year as a dental student training under Dr. Bill Dorfman, who is widely recognized as one of the country's leading dentists and celebrity dentist on "Extreme Makeover". Today, he enjoys that passion as a full time cosmetic dentist in Birmingham Michigan. Dr. Saad currently serves as the OFFICIAL DENTIST for the Miss Michigan and Miss Michigan Teen USA pageants. In addition to practicing as a cosmetic dentist, he has written and published five books on the subject of the national dental boards. Dr. Mohamed Y. Saad Dr. Mohamed is the younger brother of Dr. Ali Saad and has been a familiar face in the office since 2013. Dr. Mohamed has the same values and commitment that we all have at Drs. Vanker & Saad. He offers his own unique qualities and exceptional skills in all aspects of family and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Mohamed was the youngest in his class to graduate with an advanced dental degree from the University of Michigan and received the prestigious Dental Departmental Scholarship for his exceptional academics. In the early stages of this dental career, Dr. Mohamed spent his time providing dental care to communities in the under served and lesser privileged areas of Michigan. Dr. Mohamed was also trained by the former Department Chairman of Orthodontics at the University of Detroit, and University of California San Francisco in the field of advanced orthodontics. In 2013, Dr. Mohamed was named "Top Dentist" by the Detroit Hour Magazine and The Consumer Research of America for his work in Family and Aesthetic Dentistry. He is known to be a rising pioneer in the field of dentistry and has received exceptional recognition for his personal chaired manner with all of his patients. Dr. David J. Vanker Dr. David Vanker received a bachelor of science degree from Michigan State University and received his dental degree from the University of Detroit School of Dentistry. Over the years, Dr. Vanker has served on different committees for the Oakland County Dental Society and has been published in the Oakland County Dental Review. Dr. Vanker and his practice have been featured on local TV and has been featured in several articles in local newspapers. Dr. Vanker has been voted by his peers as one of the Top Dentists in the Detroit Metropolitan area in both Hour Magazine and Styleline Magazine. He is a member in good standing in the Academy of General Dentistry, Michigan Dental Association, Oakland County Dental Association and the American Dental Association. Over the years Dr. Vanker has taken numerous courses covering all aspects of dentistry. He has thoroughly enjoyed and has built his dental practice as a family practice, treating patients of all ages with any dental need they may present with. In addition, cosmetic dentistry has been very enjoyable and personally rewarding for Dr. Vanker and he has developed within his family practice, a very successful and highly respected cosmetic practice.
