Sunday bike ride leaving Webbs bike shop every Sunday at 9.30am
The Velo Club Bristol invites all riders to meet at 9.30am in the car park of Webbs of warmley cycle shop for a 3 hour ride looping the 4 points of the compass each week. The ride was initially designed to start early to be back early so family commitments are not disturbed. Base fitness required and according to numbers the ride will split half way. Routes to be announced each week prior to the ride. Average speed 15-17 mph, this is a sunday social ride not a chain gang. Cafe stop dependant on time Distance generally 45-60 miles. Rules. All riders must wear a helmet. Third party Insurance required All bikes must be in safe and serviceable order Lights fitted (winter dark mornings) Wear appropriate clothing according to conditions (This sounds obvious but we almost had 2 cases of hypothermia one winter morning) NO Half wheeling Its Anti Social.
