The LIDA Project is a meta-media art collective with a strong emphasis on live performance. Our goal is to present works that experiment and challenge the structure and presentation of performance while strengthening culture, community, and artistic growth. Working as a collaborative group of artists The LIDA Project intends to promote and present works of the highest integrity and expressiveness without yielding to conventional presentation and stereotypes. Control Group Productions: Our medium is live performance (occasionally also film) using all available tools to make work at hand. The purpose and process dictate the form of the product. Our work engages contemporary global arts dialogues while remaining rooted in our local culture. If that's just a bunch of crap to you: Control Group is a dance theatre company working in a different style for each piece.
