Mission Statement Vermont Swings is an enthusiastic community of swing dancers, focusing on lindy hop and its related dances. We create and promote opportunities to dance together socially and noncompetitively, motivated by our love of swing dance and our desire to share and to teach swing dance. We do this by organizing classes, workshops, dances, practice sessions, and special events in the greater Burlington, Vermont area. ********************************** Please see http://www.vermontswings.com for more information on dances, classes and more! For our dance calendar, see: http://vermontswings.com/dances_events.php Dances are every second Saturday and fourth Saturdays. Schedule is subject to change and may be affected by weather. See our website for up-to-date information: www.vermontswings.com Times (for DJed dances): Free lesson 8-8:30 with dancing 8:30 to 11, unless we have a live band. Dances with a band are 8-11 pm. If we have a lesson, it's included in the entrance fee and will be 7:30- 8. Live band dancing goes 8 to 11. Entrance fee is $5 for practice sessions and DJed dances. Entrance fee for band dances is $15 ($10 for students).
