VertiGO Vestibular & Balance Clinic offer Vestibular and Balance rehabilitation services for a variety of conditions including: • Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV) • Vestibular Neuritis/Labrynthitis • Menieres’ Disease • Vestibular Migraine • Vestibular Hypofunction (unilateral or bilateral) • Central Vestibular Disorders (Stroke, Multiple Sclerosis, Cerebellar Disorders, Traumatic Brain Injury) • Acoustic Neuroma • Ototoxicity • Perilymphatic Fistula • Superior Canal Dehiscence • Mal De Debarquement Syndrome • Falls, or fear of falling • Other conditions causing Vertigo or Dizziness Services will vary depending on the outcome of patient assessment, but may include: • Comprehensive initial assessment (vestibular, neurological & balance systems) • Canalith repositioning manoeuvres for the treatment of BPPV • Provision of vestibular & balance rehabilitation programs • Development of individualised home exercise programs • Education regarding vestibular & balance disorders including dietary modification • Falls prevention education • Provision of gait aids and other necessarily assistive equipment • Referral for vestibular function testing • Referral to other appropriate services as required • Frequent reassessment and progression of programs as appropriate If you have any questions or queries regarding our services please contact Laura Power (Physiotherapist) via phone on (03) 4433 0032
