Veterans Memorial Coliseum, formerly and more commonly known as Memorial Coliseum, is an indoor arena located in the oldest part of what is now known as the Rose Quarter area in Portland, Oregon, United States.The arena is the home of the Portland Winterhawks, a major junior ice hockey team, and was the original home of the Portland Trail Blazers of the National Basketball Association.It has been included on the National Register of Historic Places in recognition of its architectural significance.TenantsThe Memorial Coliseum was the home of the Portland Buckaroos of the Western Hockey League and was the venue for the 1965 NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Championship, where UCLA won its second of ten such championships in the 1960s and 1970s.Portland Trail BlazersWhen the Portland Trail Blazers franchise was awarded for 1970, the Memorial Coliseum became the team's home court, capable of seating nearly 13,000 when configured for basketball. Three NBA Finals have been (partially) played in the Coliseum; in 1977 (when the Trail Blazers won) and in 1990 and 1992. The Blazers were 10-0 in the Coliseum during the 1977 playoffs.

Hadlock Field is a Minor League baseball stadium in Portland, Maine. It is primarily home to the Portland Sea Dogs of the Eastern League. It is also the home of the Portland High School Bulldogs and Deering High School Rams baseball teams. The stadium is named for Edson J. Hadlock, Jr., a long-time Portland High School baseball coach and physics teacher.History and developmentThe park opened on April 18, 1994 with a capacity of 6,000. A year later, 500 seats were added, boosting capacity to 6,500. Expansion in 1998 increased capacity to 6,860 and in 2002 to 6,975. About 400 seats were added in right field before the start of the 2006 season, and the park currently seats 7,368. Hadlock Field is located between Interstate 295, the historic Fitzpatrick Stadium, and the Portland Exposition Building, the second-oldest arena in continuous operation in the United States. In 2003, when the Sea Dogs affiliated with the Boston Red Sox, a replica Green monster, called the Maine Monster, was added to left field to match the original at the Red Sox' Fenway Park. A replica Citgo sign and Coke bottle were added as well to make the field look even more like Fenway Park.
