Description

VibraFusionLab is an interactive creative studio that encourages the creation of new inclusive art forms and supports the efforts to develop art practices of greater accessibility and audience participation through the availability of cross modal technologies. The lab is a centre for investigating broader sensory applications and emotionality in art making and exploring vibratactile as a language of artistic expression.

Under the Directorship of David Bobier, VibraFusionLab is a collaboration with IMDC (Inclusive Media & Design Centre), Ryerson University and TAD Inc.,Toronto. VibraFusionLab works with artists and audiences of all abilities and provides chairs containing tactical speakers that send vibration to the participant in the chair. Instead of hearing the music, you are able to feel the music, through vibration.
