I love when children play together and I get to observe. A pregnant man is in the doctors a. The doctor has given him a haircut and hammered his knees. Now he is getting his toenails cut. Well you can't complain about the holistic service provided at this doctors!
MAKATON: If you are local and interested in makaton training, please get in contact with me. I am arranging some training in the comfort of my home and there are spaces available. The cost is £95 per person for two full Saturdays of training and includes manuals and materials for you to keep. The course will be taken by Wendy Devine, the regional makaton tutor and can lead as a stepping stone to further experience and qualifications in makaton if you choose.

The children believe there are bears, wolves, lions, monkeys and dinosaurs in the woods. When I suggested there might be owls, they laughed at me. I think I give up!

Fab day yesterday. Swimming, then library, long park session including blackberry picking then home to make crumble. Yum.
What do childminders do who don't live near pennywell? It's our absolute go to Saturday activity and often in the week too. Fab day today and we even had a chance to fly the owls.
National play day at the hoe today. We have painted ourselves from head to toe, been on bouncy castles, made cakes from playdough and pasta and now I have all the kids involved in a singing workshop. Fab free day out!
Tomorrow there is a play day at trefusis park from 11 til 12 which is free and there is a craft and singing session for ages up to 8 at Emmanuel church in the afternoon (from 1:30 for £3 per family). The play activities in drake circus will also be starting tomorrow.
If you are looking for what to do in the Summer: Next Wednesday 6th August is National Play Day on the Hoe. In August, Drake Circus have daily activities. Hope Baptist Church have free themed play sessions Thursdays 10-12am. St Pancras Church have free play sessions for under 5s Fridays 10-12. Music Makers is a fab group-£4 a session and runs on Tuesday mornings in Saltash and Thursday mornings at Hope Baptist in Peverell. You can get a free session voucher from their website. I am organising weekly outdoor play get togethers on Monday mornings in parks in the Lipson area via the facebook group "St Judes Tots Time Parents" Emmanuel Church has messy crafts, story time and singing 1:30 to 3:30 on Monday afternoons, but I don't think it's on next week due to their holiday club.
We are off to the beach beach beach. I love sunny summer days.
