Welcome to Studio Vintage bij Charlie, Your online shop for midcentury modern design of the 20th century where you’ll find Dutch & Scandinavian designers and producers of furniture, lighting and accessories. Studio Vintage Charlie is located in the former fire department locker room at the old munitions factory ‘Kruithoorn’ in the city of ’s-Hertogenbosch, The Netherlands. These days the old factory and firing ranges are the workplace and storage of festivals, artists, designers and were we established our studio. The studio is a place where mid-century modern furniture and accessories get a new start. They are refurbished when needed; for example, they get new veneer, a fresh coat of oil and lots of love and attention. All the items can be viewed in our studio where they show off their wooden handles dovetail joints, solid metal hinges and vintage patina. We (couple of 90’s kids) started our modest design studio in 2013 because we love the soul and solidity of mid century modern furniture. Finding beautiful mid-mod items makes us feel like urban hunters. And reviving them is grateful labor. Would you like to visit our studio?
