A lot of today's pictures are not made on star power." - Sydney Guilaroff "It is easy to be brave from a safe distance." -Aesop - I am particularly partial to higher quality over abundance - As an aspiring hair stylist and makeup artist focusing on my inclusive knowledge of the late 1920's through the late-60's, I am detail oriented in creating period correct styles. History is an intense passion of mine and I deeply enjoy sharing the exquisite styling of the past with each of my beautiful clients. With a degree concentrating on Musical Theatre, my extensive experience started mainly through theatre and the Dallas-Fort Worth swing dance scene. My forte is distinctive quality looks from said time period, and though I am also willing to venture into more modern designs, my work will always have a little Vintage Flair! With that being said, I feel it is of utmost importance to stress to folks that overall, my passion of vintage flourishes throughout our lifestyle. It is more than just what is all the rage or trendy at the moment. It is a way of life and it has been since I started learning about it from a very young age. This has been my preferred style for many years and my hopes are that my work appropriately pays homage to the artists of the time period. Trade work is currently limited to projects that all parties involved can benefit from; however, you will find that my rates are very reasonable compared to industry standards.
