Founded in 1990 with the support of artists including Tim Minchin and Claire Hooper, WA Youth Theatre Company continues to create professional performances by talented Australians under the age of 27. We strive to be a leader in the Perth theatre community by providing opportunities for local artists to showcase their talents, as well as growing and support local talents in the industry through acting training, new devised works, and providing mentoring for emerging artists and theatre makers.
