With 200+ members, Wakefield Squash Club provides a competitive, friendly and social environment ideal for squash and racquet ball players of all ages and standards. The club caters for anyone who loves squash and racquet ball. With many different teams in the Metro and Yorkshire Leagues, Wakefield Squash club prides itself on its long and continued commitment to representing the City of Wakefield and is always looking for more new players to compete for places. internally, the club holds many competitions including 8 leagues, where players can win promotion as well as the ever popular Summer League, where players of differing standards join teams and compete in a handicapped league. A team of coaches, led by Dave Krlic, a National Level 2 Squash accredited coach, provide tailored one-on-one as well as group sessions for anyone wanting to learn the game from scratch, specialist junior coaching through to intermediate and experienced players wanting to improve key aspects of their game. The club has 4 courts, three of which are glass back, with excellent viewing areas, changing rooms, social rooms and a bar.
