Walk of Faith is a ministry dedicated to health and wellness education based on Biblical principles and to disseminating the Gospel message.
In the year 2000, chronic diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, and obesity affected more than 125 million Americans (45 percent of the population). Today, this number is over 170 million. Of these, more than 60 percent suffer with multiple chronic diseases. Chronic disease now accounts for 70 percent of all deaths in the U.S. and represents nearly 80 percent of all healthcare spending (over one trillion dollars). Founded by Arnie Suntag, health educator and program director, Walk of Faith is a Biblically-based lifestyle modification program that enables participants from around the nation to overcome disease and achieve optimal health. As a survivor of cancer and other serious disease, Arnie shares his insights on television and at churches around the country. He helped develop The Personal Fitness Profile, a nationally recognized program of the Arizona Heart Institute featured on ABC’s 20/20 series with Barbara Walters, and has been an advocate for health and fitness over the past two decades. Although Walk of Faith no longer operates its lifestyle center in Hawaii, the ministry does continue to conduct seminars and health education series at churches and community centers throughout the U.S. To encourage program participants to live healthier lifestyles based upon Biblical counsels and principles, and to develop a closer relationship with Jesus Christ.
