Training Men & Women in Christian leadership & discipleship.
It has been said that "Christianity is an inch deep and a mile wide", the result of effective evangelism but a lack of discipleship resulting in immature believers. We call this condition "Christian in Name Only" or CINO. Walking in the Way was designed specifically to counteract this condition by training pastors and church leaders in how to walk in the Way of Christ. They, in turn, share what they learn beginning with their families and moving out to their church members.

This is a BIG week for Walking in the Way Africa. Yesterday marked the first day of their annual WitW Conference being held in Kenya. Praise God for his faithfulness in spite of spiritual opposition in making this conference a reality. Pray that God's purposes will be achieved and that men and women will be grounded in their faith and motivated to live their lives wholly for Christ. God is indeed working in a mighty way!
“You only truly believe that which activates you.” I heard this statement from the lips of a missionary leader nearly forty years ago during a missions conference at our church. I encourage you to memorize it as I have, and keep it continually before your mind as a reminder that saving faith necessarily engenders righteous behavior. Update USA: Pray with us as we continue our training in Albuquerque. Our God is faithful and is at work. Praise His Name!
Today is Resurrection Sunday. Celebrate and rejoice in our risen Savior, Jesus Christ!
Have you ever tried to describe the storyline (the main plot) of the Bible in a single sentence? That is what we will be attempting to do next week. I'd love to see your attempts via comments to my post.

"If you, as a disciple, have difficulty pointing to a specific event that marks your conversion, you should not become anxious. Instead, you should evaluate your progress toward Christlikeness. As a missionary once affirmed to me, the question is not whether you can point to a dramatic event at some time in the past, but whether the thrust of your life in the present is "toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus."[Philippians 4:13, ESV]" Walking in the Way of Christ and the Apostles Part 2
"The fruit of the gospel produces faith that works, love that labors, and hope that is steadfast".
