Wallace High School Parent Teacher Network (PTN) is the new name for Wallace High Parent Council formerly known as the Wallace High Action Team (WHAT).
The Parental Involvement Act (2006) introduced Parent Councils. These were to take over from the old School Boards and PTAs as the new representative body for parents in schools. The Act aims to improve parents' involvement in their own child's education believing that Schools need the support of parents to be truly successful and ambitious. We would urge you to become involved with the PTN whether by joining the Committee, helping at events or just letting us have your comments, concerns and ideas for making the School a better place for our children. All our children will benefit from your involvement.
