Rural Leicestershire self catering holiday cottage accommodation at Walton Thorns Farm near Six Hills. Located in the Midlands with Loughborough, Melton Mowbray, Leicester and Nottingham all within easy reach. Three 4 star holiday cottages providing comfortable & spacious accommodation for your stay, converted from traditional courtyard farm buildings. SHIRE COTTAGE sleeps 4, one king and one twin both with en-suite. THE OLD HAY BARN sleeps 2 with one king bed and en-suite. DAIRY COTTAGE sleeps 5 with one twin and a family room with double and single bed. We have a minimum stay of 2 nights and flexible start days all year round to ensure flexibility for our leisure and business guests from the UK and overseas. Book online or contact us for enquiries. Sorry we do not accept pets and are not a suitable location for stag/hen parties. We have a mapped and marked farm trail of over 6km for the use of guests to Walton Thorns Farm Holiday Cottages, winding its way round the farm. Ideal for a pleasant walk or to watch the wildlife and birds. Guided tours of our classic and vintage tractor collection are available to residents upon request.

Our old traditional courtyard farm buildings were converted into delightful self catering cottages which opened in 2009. Our three comfortable and spacious cottages are ideal for those seeking holiday accommodation, a farm stay, country cottage break, business accommodation, accommodation for weddings at Prestwold Hall or The Carriage Hall at Plumtree. Ragdale Hall Health Hydro & Thermal Spa is also very close by ideal for a day of pampering. We are very well placed between, Loughborough, Melton Mowbray, Leicester & Nottingham for those needing accommodation whilst visiting relations and friends in the East Midlands or attending weddings at Prestwold Hall, parties and the Download and Glastonbudget music festivals.
