The best years of my life. Growing up in Little Italy and attending Washington School in the 1960's. Mrs. Johnson, Mrs. Royalty, Mrs. Illig, Mrs. Thompson. I can still see it, my time in the classroom and at recess, the May Pole Dance, watching the World Series at lunch in the auditorium, flag monitor, learning how to raise and fold the flag. It was a great time to be a kid! Anthony Contasti
Alumni where are you...share your stories. Dino Cresci's mom went to WES in the 1920's. Today, Dino's grandson attends kindergarten and grandpa says 'he loves school', his mom says "he loves to go to school everyday!".
