Washington Street (NLR station)
Washington Street Station is an underground station on the Newark City Subway Line of the Newark Light Rail system. The station is owned and service is operated by New Jersey Transit. The station is located at the intersection of Raymond Boulevard and Washington Street with a second entrance at University Avenue, both in Downtown Newark. The station serves the western edge of downtown and the University Heights neighborhood. The station was opened in 1935. The station is decorated with beige tiles and colored tiles for borders, mosaics and street indicator signs. Some mosaic street indicators still show the exit for "Plane Street" which is the previous name for University Avenue. This station is wheelchair accessible.HistoryIn 1910, the Public Service Corporation planned to build two subway lines meeting at Broad Street . The east-west subway line, which was eventually built in the old Morris Canal bed with Raymond Boulevard built over it. The Fred Rust Ice Arena or University of Delaware Ice Arena multi-purpose arena on the campus of The University of Delaware located in Newark, Delaware. The Facility houses two ice sheets the main ice arena, the Fred Rust Ice Arena, is a 2,500-seat regulation Olympic sized ice arena on the UD campus. The Fred Rust Ice Arena was built in 1988 and houses the Olympic-sized ice area, a VIP lounge, a pro shop, locker rooms, weight and fitness facility, and a concession area. The Gold Arena is the NHL sized ice sheet and was constructed in 1971. The Gold arena sits adjacent to the Fred Rust on the UD campus.

Queen of Angels Church is a historic church on Belmont Avenue at Morton Street in Newark, Essex County, New Jersey, United States.It was built in 1861 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1972. As of 2014 the building was slated for demolition.
