Primary Areas of Focus for Water for All Nations: Tanzania 1) Biblical, Christ-Centered Discipleship We focus on relationship-driven training for Christian leaders, initially in the rural and business sectors of society, that will equip Christians in those sectors to train other Christians to know the gospel and to build a strong relationship with Christ in a way that can be passed onto other Christians. We believe that relationships with Christ and other people are the foundation for sustainable growth in all areas of human existence. 2) Clean Water Solutions We provide training designed to show individual families how to create their own clean water solutions, initially through the Baptist Drilling Method. The drive for this training is to build relationships with families who are experiencing material and relational poverty in an effort to gain their trust while helping them meet their practical needs so that a foundation for discipleship can be established. We believe helping people in materially impoverished communities meet their practical needs is the key to building trust between them and us and that water is the most basic material need in every nation. 3) Values-Based Business We aim to establish a networking group for business leaders within the local business community that will serve as a hub for practical Christian living in the local business sector with an emphasis on Christian discipleship. This group will provide a welcoming environment for any business or community leader to fellowship with other leaders and grow spiritually as the members develop positive relationships with one another and explore what following Christ looks like in the workplace and elsewhere. This will take some time to fully develop and will begin with the identification of men and women in the business community who are believers in Christ and can commit to ongoing discipleship with WAN staff members. The networking group must grow out of these relationships. Christ-centered relationship building is the key to the success of this group. We believe that the business community in any nation has the most potential to sustain growth in all sectors of society.
