Watersheds Canada is an organization dedicated to facilitating community involvement in water resource protection across Canada. Watersheds Canada is a federally incorporated non-profit organization, and registered Canadian charity. We are committed to providing programs to communities across the country that work to engage and help shoreline owners enhance and protect the health of lakes and rivers.

Description

Since incorporation in 2002, Watersheds Canada (formerly Centre for Sustainable Watersheds) has continued its role at the forefront of the water conservation community. To help protect water resources across Canada, Watersheds Canada has developed programs which aim to build leaders in water quality stewardship through a variety of training and educational initiatives, and to encourage their work by providing the necessary tools, resources, and support. Our goal is to support a water conscious community equipped to save our lakes and rivers. We work with landowners, communities, and organizations to protect lakes and rivers through developing effective, transferable, long-term solutions.
