Wishing all our wonderful families a very Merry Christmas! Have a fun holiday x
Term 4 lessons fully booked for Willetton but we still have spots in Mosman Park - babies through to adults, survival swim too. It is great to have so many children and adults to progress before Christmas! :)
It was a very long holiday! Term starts again tomorrow, Monday lessons don't start till the 9th. So looking forward to seeing everyone, especially those who didn't come to the holiday program! :)
New Year, New Location 😊 We are very excited to be offering morning lessons in Karrinyup Tuesdays & Thursdays right through till Easter. Contact me to enrol your child, adult students welcome too. Happy new year, we wish everything of the best to you and yours!
Email from a grateful and relieved mom today - this is why we teach survival swim! "A few weeks ago Miss G was walking up and down the raised step in the pool, something she has done hundreds of times, my husband and I were in the pool playing with our one year old. I can’t tell you what the time frame was but we both heard Miss G making a soft grunting noise and when we turned to see her, she was floating on her back. She must have walked too far off the ledge and fallen off and into the pool. The scariest thing was that we didn’t even hear a splash or her making any noise as she fell. She immediately floated on her back and we felt sick when we realised what had happened. And so thankful that we had invested the time into doing your training - her survival swim skills kicked in just as you said they would if she ever fell in the pool. Thank you so much!!!"
TAKE CONTROL, NOT CHANCES It's not just about being comfortable in the water, it's being able to swim and survive. Empower your child with the skills needed to safely enjoy the water!
Only 4 weeks left at Castlereagh for this term - we have some hard work and lots of fun to get through in the next few lessons! :-)
Term 4 info is going out Monday - it's a busy term so we are getting organised early! Yay, so many kids and adults to help get safe and stronger in water this summer!
It just gets better and better - drowning prevention classes are now also being held in Mosman Park. Looking forward to seeing many of you there this weekend!
One extra day of fun next term! Lessons at Castlereagh will be Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Let us know if anyone would like to move to Thursdays - we have spots free at 3.30 pm and 5.00 pm.
Parents, would you know what to do in an emergency ??? CPR saved a baby's life today - if you are unsure of what to do, PLEASE sign up for a course as soon as possible! They are offered by organisations such as St Johns, Royal Life Saving and Red Cross. You may never need it but you will be grateful to know what to do if there is ever an emergency.
Live! Laugh! Swim!
A very happy Mothers Day to all our special moms - hope you are thoroughly spoilt, you deserve it!
The Waterwise family is growing in the most exciting way! At least 6 of our moms are pregnant - 2 are due this month, and we had 2 new arrivals last month. Congratulations to all these families!
"Stacy, today when I did well, I wanted to - because you are the best swimming teacher in the whole wide world". Hunter, 4 years. Brought a lump to my throat :)
Having a fantastic time in New Zealand but missing all our swimmers, small and not so small. Hope everyone can get some swimming time in this week regardless!
First day of Castlereagh lessons - looking forward to seeing how much the little ones have progressed over the summer!
Good luck to all our little ones starting at Kindy, Pre-Primary or Year 1 today!
Happy Australia Day to all our amazing Waterwise families! Hope you have lots of fun planned for today and tomorrow :)
