D2L is experiencing Security Certificate issues Users may experience a warning message when trying to access D2L. D2L Services is updating the Security Certificate which will resolve this issue. If prompted with this message, users will still be able to access D2L by following these steps: When using Firefox: 1) Click, “I understand the Risks” 2) Click, “Add Exception” 3) Click, “Confirm Security Exception” When using Internet Explorer: 1. Click, “Continue to this website” 2. A dialog box will open, click, “Yes” When using Chrome: 1) Click “Proceed Anyway”
Desire2Learn will be conducting maintenance on their servers beginning at 12 midnight. The maintenance is expected to last approximately 2 hours, during which time D2L will be inaccessible.

The downtime for D2L has been extended. We have been advised that the upgrade process is taking longer than anticipated to complete. An update will be provided once the upgrade process and testing of the new system is complete.

D2L will be hosting an in-person boot camp this summer for Faculty wanting to learn more about the system or brush up on their skills. The PASSHE wide system upgrade to Desire2Learn LE 10.3 SP6 has completed, and is now available for faculty and student use. If you experience any problems or have any questions please email the D2L Services team at firstname.lastname@example.org.

The spring term is just around the corner, use this checklist to make sure that you have a smooth beginning to the new semester! 1) Use the D2L System Check (available from 'My Home'). This will help you identify required Browser, Flash, and Java updates. 2) Combine Course form. If you're teaching multiple sections of the same course, we can merge your sections so that you only need to manage one course site. (click "Forms' from wcupa.edu/D2L). 3) Activate your courses. All courses are created as 'inactive' and must be set to Active so that students can see the material(s) and assignments you've posted.
