Description

Western Recording Company is a professional recording studio located in Liverpool City Centre. It’s our goal to provide affordable high quality recordings to artists of all genres and experience levels. The studio is owned and operated by Kyle Western, Liam Carey and Mark Brocklesby. Our recording space offers a unique, relaxed and creative environment ideal for recording music. The control room (22’x25’x18’) is a spacious, acoustically correct, neutral environment that is home to a variety of outboard compressors, preamps and software based processing. The recording area consists of a large live room (33’x26’x20’), 3 isolation booths (10’x12’x14’) and a vocal booth (5’x4’x8’). Each room has been designed to provide a variety of sonic options and there is a wide selection of instruments including guitars, basses, amplifiers, keyboards and drum kits to choose from. We also have a comfortable lounge area with natural light, kitchen facilities, Wi-Fi, dartboard, and Hi-Fi. Rates: Full day rate with Engineer £150 Half day rate with Engineer £80 Hourly rate with Engineer £25 Since everyone’s project is unique, rates can be determined on a per project basis. We can offer discounts for booking multiple days and endeavor to give relief to solo and duo artists or where the bill is being split between less people. We also offer a 10% discount if you or anyone in your band has a valid student or NUS card. When enquiring about rates, please give us as much detail as possible so we have a good idea of what you would like to achieve. Information to include would be: How many songs you would like to record, instrumentation, how many people are in your band. It would also be useful to know what days of the week would be suitable for you. We can then tailor your session accordingly and ensure that you are making the most of your time. Payment Info A 50% deposit is required to confirm your session. The remaining amount is due on the last day of your booking.
