ALL ABOUT WHITE HORSE White Horse Motors is a family run business located on the outskirts of Exeter in Devon, established in 1958 by my father Gerald Dinnis. I am very proud to be following in my fathers’ footsteps; directing the business he worked so hard to create for over 30 years, as well as seeing my children taking on active roles within the business, becoming the third generation of our family to be working at the dealership. As well as mine and my families input, the business is also overseen by my “Operations Director” Graham Joll. Graham and I have known each other for over 22 years both professionally and socially and he has served the business for a combined total of 15 years now. He had a 5 year period away from the business where he worked all over the world, most recently for JCB at their World Headquarters. Graham returned to White Horse Motors in November 2014 and we are thrilled to have him back. He brings with him a wealth of experience that will help me grow and develop the business even further in the years ahead. The business continues to grow year on year and has become a household name in Exeter, Devon and the surrounding areas. Dad started the business from humble beginnings buying, servicing and selling agricultural machinery throughout the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s. Following on into the 80’s the focus steered to specialising and becoming a main dealer for Land Rover and then later onto other 4x4 vehicles. Today, we have developed the business into a cutting edge facility where we are now proud to represent Isuzu as a main dealer, as well as providing quality hand-selected used vehicles. Our moto is “4 Whatever your needs.” Here at White Horse Motors we are true to our word, be it sales, specialist vehicle builds, vehicle and trailer servicing, parts, accessories or valeting we are able to fulfil all you needs. Our family run business ethics make us the first choice for hundreds of repeat customers every year and being a member of Devon County Council's, Trading Standards 'Buy with Confidence' scheme means we are recognised as a business you can trust. When you visit our dealership you will be welcomed by friendly dedicated staff who care in whatever department you choose. Our modern custom built showroom accommodates an array of cars and houses our sales and service departments as well as a range of vehicle accessories. Available for our customers to use is a comfortable waiting area with complementary refreshments, free WIFI, TV, magazines and a children’s play area to keep the little ones amused. We pride ourselves on our family values and run our business in the same way. We do not use pressure sales to secure business but we encourage a genuine, honest friendly approach from our sales team. We have rolled this ethos out to all areas of the business and try to go that little bit further than other dealerships to exceed our customer’s needs. Our service department offers a free collection and delivery service within a 15 mile radius or collection can be arranged for those living further away for a small fee. We will also be keeping you informed throughout the ownership of your vehicle when your routine servicing and MOTs are due to try to make life as simple as possible for you. When your vehicle requires servicing you can also take advantage of a free courtesy car to use while yours is being taken care of.
