Description

Families building for families, Whitestone is a family company that’s been building in the Metro Halifax area since 1995. We understand that the building process can be confusing and sometimes scary to potential homeowners. That’s why we’re hands-on builders. We believe in being onsite, accessible, and only a phone call away. At Whitestone, we take as much pride in being attentive and responsive to our clients’ needs as we do in the final product. We’re a small company that focuses on every little detail. Whitestone founders Tamara & Andrew are both well-respected building industry leaders who continue to research and implement better ways to build. Whitestone is also an active member of the Nova Scotia Home Builders’ Association. Staying on top of the newest technologies and construction practices is how we provide our clients with the best-of-the-best building options. Customer service matters to us, and so does community service. From volunteering our own time to supporting local community events and charities through the Nova Scotia Home Builders Care program, Whitestone is proud to give back to the communities we build in.

Did you know: 10-digit dialing will soon be mandatory in NS? Starting August 23, 2014, business and residential consumers in the 902 region will have to adopt 10-digit dialing – the area code followed by the phone number – for all local communications. This dialing method has been successfully implemented in several regions in Canada. The introduction of 10-digit dialing is the result of a decision by the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) and will pave the way for the addition of a new area code, 782, starting on November 30, 2014, as the 902 area code reaches capacity.

"We cannot thank Whitestone enough for our beautiful renovation. The house functions better than we could have hoped for. And we have our dream kitchen and breakfast nook. We can honestly say, that the most amount of stress that we felt during this entire process, was trying to make the decision about the kitchen backsplash. If we need any more work done in the future, we'll be calling." -Sharon & Wayne
